Description
You are bidding on a MONO pressing of the extremely scarce "Please Please me" GOLD LABEL. cat number PMC1202. The disc is housed in an "E J Day & Co" sleeve.
The story behind this record is legendary. Available for only a couple of weeks on it's first release before being replaced by the now common Yellow and Black label.
I have owned the record for about 20 years and will be sad to see it go.
Ive graded using the recognised "Record Collector" grading system.
Visually graded, Condition of the disc is "very good" ie - some surface marks but nothing that would be considered too serious. Disc still retain's a nice "gleam" which is eveident in the pic's. A clear sign the record has not been "played to death".
Condition of the sleeve is also "very good" - spine intact, some edge scuffing but again nothing too serious.
The all important label itself is in excellent condition, both sides, no fading, no scuffs etc - see pics.
