THE BEATLES - 'REVOLVER'
This EXCELLENT UK 2nd MONO pressing dates from late 1966 and is on an unusual 'ridged' black & yellow Parlophone label: PMC 7009
This label indentation was caused by manufacture on and old-style press and is similar to a number of other EMI pressed LPs from 1966.
Both labels include the 'Sold in UK..' text and have 'The Gramophone Co..' worded rim texts.
The initial 'Dr. Robert' spelling & 'KT' purchase tax code are present on the side 2 label.

Housed in a front laminated, tri-flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed mono cover with original 'Patents Applied For' inner-sleeve.

A superb clean & unworn pair with just a small handful of faint spindle trails around each unworn centre hole.
Visual: EXCELLENT +
Pristine deep-gloss playing surfaces which apart from a non-feelable 5mm mark on track 3 of side 1 are unmarked in strong daylight. Close examination directly beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp reveals nothing more than a few harmless wispy inner-sleeve removal hairlines & a sparkling rainbow shine. Both sides of this well looked-after copy lie 100% flat on the turntable when playing.
Sound Quality: EXCELLENT
This copy has received a minimal amount of careful play and is without any significant deterioration to the sound quality throughout. However, as with most copies of this LP due to the nature of the cut, there some light background audible on 'Eleanor Rigby' and 'Here, There & Everywhere'. My single careful play-check at volume detected no clicks, pops or any other audible distraction or wear.
Cover: EXCELLENT -
A respectable example with some light storagewear but no major faults. The unscratched high-gloss front panel is clean & white with a small bend in the upper right corner and a small handful of spine bends but no other significant wear. There is minor opening edge wear but no heavy bumps or bruising to any corner.
The rear panel bears some light storagewear rubbing but is without any writing or missing paper.
All flipbacks are fully intact and both seams and the spine are smooth and undamaged.
Inner-sleeve: EXCELLENT
Clean & flat with some age-toning to the paper but no writing, tears or seam split.
