'PLEASE, PLEASE ME'
1963 UK ***DECCA*** Pressing Mono LP
Black & yellow Parlophone label - PMC 1202
Without 'Sold in UK..' or 'Recording First Published..' texts.
Deep groove 1.5cms from label edge on both sides.
No code on either label.
'E.J.Day' large mono cover.
Complete with original poly-lined 'Use Emitex' inner.
Matrix: XEX 421-1N & XEX 422-1N
Stampers: 1,11 & 14
Record
Visual: EXCELLENT
Pristine, clean & glossy surfaces showing just a single 1cm fingernail scuff on side 1, & a 1.5cm mark on side 2. Some faint sleeve removal hairlines are visible under halogen light but there are NO other marks or any scratches anywhere. Its only fault is a slight warp visible when side 2 is playing, but this does not affect sound or play in any way.
Play: EXCELLENT
Only carefully played a few times there is absolutley no crackle or groovewear distortion on any track. There is a faint 'whistle' on tracks 1-4 on side ,1 but certainly no clicks, jumps or repeats.
Cover
VERY GOOD +
Strong, thick card cover with light creasing to the lower right corner but no major faults. Rear panel shows minor upper flipback wear and faint ageing spots but no other marks or writing.
Strict grading under strong direct light to UK 'RECORD COLLECTOR' standards
I play every record I sell at volume and list all visual and audible faults
Unless stated all records lie 100% flat & play without distortion, jumps or sticks.
All sleeves have no writing, splits or tears.
