1963 UK PARLOPHONE *MONO* LP
**RARE VARIANT 4th PRESSING & MID-SIZED MONO COVER**
This rare 'crossover' copy features a rare 'E.J. Day' mid-sized mono cover & is one of the 1st 300 copies pressed of the '-2' side two cut.
This rare 1964 variant 4th mono pressing is the UK black & yellow Parlophone label: PMC 1202
The labels omit the 'Sold in UK..' text but carry 'Parlophone Co..' rims.
The 'MT' tax/price code is visible on the side 2 label.
Housed in a very rare front laminated, tri-flipback 'E.J. Day' mid-sized mono cover.
Complete with its original Use Emitex' lined inner-sleeve.
Matrix numbers: XEX 421-1N & XEX 422-2N
Stamper numbers: 15/ROT & 1/G

Pristine, unmarked surfaces which bear just a few wispy paper hairlines only when viewed directly under a halogen desk lamp.
Otherwise, this is an outstandingly clean & bright disc with no other marks or any scratches to either side.
Quality, sharp-edged vinyl which lies 100% flat on both sides with no dishing or warping.
Audio: VERY GOOD PLUS
Carefully and moderately played, there is very little overall deterioration to the sound quality.
Some groovewear is audible most notably on track 1, side 1 but thereafter only intermittantly on some loud peaks.
However both run-ins & all bands are extremely quiet and play without intereference & there are no clicks, jumps or repeats anywhere.
Cover: EXCELLENT
Very strong, clean & vibrant front panel retaining a high-gloss, undamaged laminate which bears just single, small 'thumbnail' crease near the opening.
There is some light creasing to the lower left corner & a small rub on the lower right but the edges display are sharp, clean & unworn both sides.
The rear panel is a clean & bright white no discolouration, age spots, writing or missing paper.
All the delicate flipbacks, seams and spine are intact, clean & undamaged.
(The lower right flipback corner is not damaged.
