Description
Original Copy of The Beatles Portrait cover "The Beatles and Frank Ifield On Stage" VeeJay Records 1085 Mono. Short story on this LP...was gifted to me about 45 years ago from a cousin....who was the original owner. Time to find another home for it!
Cover is G to G+: moisture damaged when stored long ago. Printing on spine is gone (one of the key ID's for an original portrait cover). However two second key ID's are still there: The black sketched outline of the bench the Beatles are sitting on - primarily to the right of John Lennon with a small black line to the left of George Harrison as well as the speckled blue/green background. Both of these ID's are missing on counterfeit copies. There is some staining on backside. Top and bottom seams are not split however there is significant wear.
So....it is what it is.... but still displays fairly decently. The disc is G+ to VG...plethora surface scuffing and some light scratching. Clean labels. Playback both sides completely thru is VG with a few soft ticks on Frank Ifield's "Anytime" track.
