Condition

Labels: EXCELLENT

Visual: VERY GOOD +

Very clean, bright and glossy surfaces with the only significant blemish in strong daylight being a single 7cm non-feelable fingernail scuff line on side 2. Close & careful inspection directly under halogen light reveals a few tiny scratches wispy inner-sleeve removal/paper hairlines. Both sides lie 100% flat on the turntable on both sides, with no signs of dishing or warping.

Play: EXCELLENT -

First-class clear & clean sound on this impressive early copy with no traces of groovewear or background noise on any track or channel. My careful play-check at volume detected just some light clicks on 'You've Got To Hide Your Love Away' but no further significant or major audible faults. The easily damaged 'Yesterday' and two innermost tracks play without fault.

Cover

VERY GOOD +

A clean and strong example which retains a clean front panel which display slight age- toning a few handling creases but no major signs of wear. There is some minor bruising to the lower corners and some small 'pushes' to the rear opening edge but no tears to either. The rear panel is generally clean and white with just some handling marks towards the opening edge but no writing or missing paper. All flipbacks are 100% intact and undamaged, as are both seams and the perfectly worded spine.

Inner-sleeve

VERY GOOD -

Flat and clean with just a single tear to the centre hole on one side but no seam splits, tears or writing.

  • Strict & grading under strong daylight & directly beneath a halogen desk lamp to UK 'RECORD COLLECTOR' standards.
  • I carefully play every record I sell on a $5,000 Rega P9 turntable at volume and list all visual and audible faults.
  • Unless stated, all records lie 100% flat & play without distortion, jumps or sticks. All sleeves/covers have no writing, splits or tears.
  • All the photos in this listing have been taken by myself and are of the actual items for sale.
  • All records are professionally & securely in custom-made record mailing boxes with the disc removed from the cover.
