This auction is for an EXTREMELY rare and early 45 RPM 7" EP by BUDDY HOLLY - "That'll Be The Day" 7" EP on Decca Records - ED 2575 - US PRESSING. This EP features the cuts "That'll Be The Day", "You Are My One Desire", "Blue Days, Black Nights" and "Ting-A-Ling". The picture sleeve features the liner notes on the back! This record was pressed in the late 50s and it is extremely rare to find a copy with the original Picture Sleeve in this nice of shape! I have rated the record audibly as such: The A-Side of the record sounds incredible with minimal noise. Graded at VG++ with only minor surface noise in between tracks and during the quietest moments. The B-Side is rated at VG++ Visually the record is nice and glossy! Center labels nice and clean! Fresh! The hard cardboard paste-on Picture Sleeve is in excellent shape! VERY RARE to find one with a Picture Sleeve in this great of shape, let alone a picture sleeve at all! Graded at EX with only extremely small signs of wear (the worst being some light pencil writing on the top left corner which we opted to leave on as it is the condition the record came to us in. Most likely it could be removed with some TLC and light erasing). There are absolutely NO seam splits or signs of split seams starting. The corners are all great as well, only the top left corner on the back side has a small stub directly next to the pencil marking! Please see photos or ask questions before bidding! Thanks!

• M  Mint - Perfect in all ways.
• M- Mint Minus - Near perfect, most likely and unplayed record
• EX - Somewhere between VG+ and M- with hardly any noise present, very well kept jacket.
• VG+  Very Good Plus - Very close to like new with only superficial signs of use that do not affect playability. Only records stored and used with care will grade out to VG+.
• VG Very Good - A used, reasonable copy that plays. There will be obvious signs of wear and the possibility of some light surface noise between tracks or during quiet passages, but still nice and playable.
• VG- Very Good Minus - A record with significant wear and marks. Records graded VG-usually have some noticeable surface noise.
• G+ Good Plus. 'Good' means pretty beat up. From here on down (Fair, Poor), we're talking about extremely beat up records.
