Description

I AM PROUD TO PRESENT TO YOU AN EXTREMELY RARE COPY OF THE WONDERFULLY UNIQUE TRIPLE SET OF EPS FOR  BUDDY HOLLY WHICH WAS ONLY EVER RELEASED IN AUSTRALIA ON XL-31319.

THE BONUS IS THAT THIS COPY HERE FOR SALE IS A WHITE LABEL PROMO COPY ON THE PARENT FESTIVAL LABEL NOT THE STOCK COPY ON CORAL. I KNOW OF THREE IN EXISTENCE WHICH I STILL HAVE ONE.

THE RECORDS ARE MINT.

THE SET CONSISTS OF 3 EPS OF 12 SONGS WHICH ARE:

TAKE YOUR TIME, I'M CHANGING ALL THOSE CHANGES, AN EMPTY CUP, MIDNIGHT SHIFT, YOU'VE GOT LOVE, TELL ME HOW, I'M LOOKING FOR SOMEBODY TO LOVE, LOOK AT ME, LITTLE BABY, WELL ALLRIGHT, NOW WE'RE ONE AND FOOLS PARADISE.

NOW WE HAVE TO GET ONE THING CLEAR. THE COVER IS A BONUS AS WHITE LABEL PROMOS IN AUSTRALIA DID NOT COME OUT IN A COVER SO I WILL NOT COMMENT ON THE CONDITION OF THE COVER. THE COVER IS JUST ONE I HAPPEN TO PICK UP  A FEW YEARS AGO.

ALL THREE RECORDS ARE MINT NEVER PLAYED.

THE LABELS ARE CLEAN AND CLEAR.

THE PARCEL WILL HAVE TO POSTED REGISTERED MAIL SO  PLEASE WAIT UNTIL AFTER THE AUCTION FINISHES FOR POSTAGE COSTS.

FROM THIS AUCTION, (29TH AUGUST) I WILL KEEP RECORDS OF POSTAGE FOR ALL OVERSEAS PARCELS. IF I HAVE THE CONFIRMATION SLIP OF PAPER FROM THE POST OFFICE CONFIRMING POSTAGE WAS PAID AND THE PARCEL WAS SENT THERE WILL BE NO REIMBURSEMENT. I REPEAT NO REIMBURSEMENT! I OBTAIN THE ADDRESSES FOR WHERE THE PARCELS ARE TO BE SENT FROM PAYPAL SO IF THERE IS A PROBLEM WITH THE ADDRESS IT IS YOURS NOT MINE AS YOU ARE THE ONE WHO SUPPLIED THAT ADDRESS TO PAYPAL<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

I COMBINE POSTAGE / I COMBINE POSTAGE

MY TERMS FOR PAYMENT FROM OVERSEAS WINNERS ARE 3 DAYS AND BY PAYPAL ONLY. I REPEAT 3 DAYS

MY TERMS FOR AUSTRALIANS ARE PAYPAL (3 DAYS)

I REPEAT:

MY TERMS FOR AUSTRALIANS ARE PAYPAL (3 DAYS)

ABSOLUTELY NO CHEQUES OR BANK DEPOSITS

For grading purposes I play side one only of an EP or 45 (mainly the ‘A’ side) and a few tracks on side one of an LP.

I also grade records on a perceived appearance basis. I then combine them (playing and appearance) for an overall grading. I believe this to be the most effective way of grading records. Some records can look ordinary but they play well and vikky vika. If unhappy with my product in any way please contact me, Roddy Jordan by phone 02 66875339 or overseas 011 61 2 66875339 or by email: hollysbuddy1@bigpond.com or 18 Montwood Drive Lennox Head 2478 Australia and I will refund your money in full after I receive the product back.

PLEASE WAIT FOR AN INVOICE

All vinyl listed on auction has been cleaned, played and visually inspected so that you may bid with confidence. Albums (LPs) and Extended Plays (EPs) are sent with the record outside of the cover and placed in an outer plastic sleeve (to prevent ring-wear) before safely packed.

Where required, the sleeves have been cleaned with a secret formula to eradicate as much ring-wear and built up dirt as possible.

I use the English Record Collectors Magazine Guidelines for gradings as this appears to be the generally accepted term of reference with variances to + or minus. Below are grading scales.

GRADING DEFINITIONS FROM THE ENGLISH RECORD COLLECTOR MAGAZINE

MINT (M): The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition.

EXCELLENT (EX): The record shows signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD (VG): The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and occasional light scratches. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD (G): The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.

FAIR (F): The record is still just about playable, but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

POOR (P): The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

THERE ARE VARIANCES + OR - TO THE ABOVE ASSESSMENTS.

THANKS FOR LOOKING AT MY AUCTION/S
