Description
BUDDY HOLLY ED 2575 45 rpm
Try to find another one of these. A surviving UNOPENED copy of Decca ED 2575 by Buddy Holly.
Released on November 27th 1957, song titles include "That'll Be The Day", "You Are My One Desire", "Blue Days, Black Nights", and "Ting-A-Ling". This copy has somehow managed to remain unopened or played, resulting in its near perfect condition. It also features the liner notes on the back cover rather than the more common EP ads.
The vinyl is untouched. You can see a sliver of the vinyl if you tip the jacket to the side- it looks as you would expect- brand new. As shown in the photos, the cover sleeve seams are immaculate. Because of the tear on the front original plastic sleeve, you can see the brilliant sheen on the front of the jacket. There is a small flake of the front image missing left of Buddy’s face, along the left edge. On the rear, there is a spot stain on the “LY” of “HOLLY,” and the slight yellowing of time. Again, see photos. Overall this is as nice as it gets for this release… again, still sealed in its original protective plastic sleeve. Don’t miss out on obtaining one of the rarer releases by the legendary Texas rock 'n roller. Rave on, Buddy!
No disappointments here.
See my seller feedback and thanks for looking!
I will not ship media mail sleeve- this will be boxed up and very well protected/packed.
