Description

BOB DYLAN – LIKE A ROLLING STONE (Pts. I and II) WHITE LABEL PROMO ON RED VINYL - 45 RPM - Columbia JZSP-110940 (U.S.). Disc is Near Mint to Near Mint Plus; Label is Mint Minus.

Originally issued as a promotional single in two parts (because no one at Columbia ever dreamed that any radio station would actually play a 6 minute single on the air in 1965), this issue came on red vinyl, ostensibly to attract disc jockeys who could then easily pick it from the pile of their other all-black-vinyl rotational entries. This original first pressing promo did not feature standard catalog numbers (in this case Columbia 4-43346). That came later on with full six minute versions of the single, both promotional and commercial. Obviously, the Red Vinyl White Label Promo versions are rare and quite desirable among Dylan collectors.

All vinyl records from VinylKing46 (eBay’s ORIGINAL VINYLKING) are pre-cleaned and inserted into paper inner sleeves before mailing to Buyer (unless factory sealed). Discs are packaged separately from sleeves to protect against seam splitting. Sleeves are inserted into mylar outer sleeves and both disc and sleeve are shipped in 7” EP/45-specific boxes and packed with bubble wrap or hard cardboard.

I grade conservatively and by Goldmine standards.
