Very RARE and KILLER Italian Library by obscure studio combo BLUE SHARKS who released other 2 stunning albums , "IT BECAME CRYSTAL" and "ITINERARIO BEAT" always on Leonardi catalogue and a few 45s. This insane Library work can surely be considered part of this holy trinity. Released in the early '70s ('71 or '72) brings the sign of the mysterious IPCRESS and maestro STELVIO CIPRIANI who leads the session here. An unbelievable studio production with no weak tracks and absolutely killer music. Loads of grooves, breaks and several Bboy beats to die for / mindmelting groovy Bossa and goldy Lounge freshness / insane Psychedelic trips with some heavy Progressive breakbeat / monstrous Latin Jazz & Funk tunes / amazing Funky vibes allover with fat basslines, congas and flute. This is Italian Library top-notch stuff and impossible to be missed. Stunning minimal sleeve artwork too with curious mistake on back where tracklists have been printed inverted than on labels. Top record for DJs, producers and samples hunters.

Opening track "BEAT FOR SAX" features insane Hip Hop beats and stunning Bboy groove with crazy drums driven beat, amazing Funky guitar and Sax solo with huge driving bassline. "DISTORTION" is a hard-hitting bass and piano groove with dope Psychedelic driven beat; another sure Hip Hop banger with the insane Fuzz distortions and the killer drum breaks. "MONGO" huge bass and rich percussions section with a so groovy midtempo Bossa, Funky flute madness and dope uptempo rhythms. "COCKTAIL PARTY" is another totally killer - the grooviest Underground Bossa tunes with hot drum breaks and dope loungy atmosphere. Then "RICERCA AFFANNOSA" is another crazy Psychedelic and Progressive trip similar in style to the great sleazy Italian Prog. legends like BIGLIETTO PER L'INFERNO or BALLETTO DI BRONZO. Great Hammond job here. More killing Latin and Bossa tunes on "BAIA FESTOSA" with breezy tones and Funky vein like on "ACAPULCO", the dreamy "VIAGGIO IN AUTOBUS" and finally the panoramic "TRAMONTO SULLA SPIAGGIA".
