Rare and dope Italian Library album and colourful production by Bruno Battisti D'Amario for his private Library label NIKE. 5th and last volume of this Library only series and for sure the top one. These Nike records barely surfaced around during the years and all had limited pressing and distribution, released on 500 copies almost entirely destroyed. Stunning studio album composed by maestro D'Amario, 1st guitar of Ennio Morricone, that also features the Italian Jazz bassist Giorgio Rosciglione as composer on SIAE database. Bewitching and sophisticated moody Lounge session with deep Bossa Nova and Samba influences and also featuring historical contrabassist Tonino Ferrelli at electric bass, D'Amario and Angelo Baroncini on guitars, Franco Goldani and Enrico Cortese on keyboards. Killer Funk and groovy Blues with catching guitar riffs, Wah Wah effects and distortions / refined descriptive music / mental loungy Bossa and Samba vibes / lovely interludes with intense rhythms / remarkable Moog and electronic keyboards effects with brilliant Fender Rhodes arrangements / top notch refined Italian Library Mood music. Our soundclip starts with the banger "INSISTIAMO", wonderful Funky 6/4 rhythm and blues with dope driven beats, groovy drums and killer Fender Rhodes solo; insane driving guitars riffs with background distortions, just an amazing jam. On the same vein the Funky "IMMISSIONE" with heavy pressed piano, vibes and fat bassline. Superb Score theme on "FIGURE IN GRIGIO" with constant rhythm and filmic musical effects, spinet and 12-strings guitar. The elegant loungy tunes of"TAFFETAS" with oustanding Wah Wah job and Moog effects. "ELISA" is a totally catching Bossa shot with Moog and piano Fender accompaniment; more rhythmical Bossa and Samba beats on the moody "TUMBADA", the sweet Samba kicks of the lovely themed "TETRANOTE" and the elegant Fender Rhodes Bossa of "POMARANCIO". Stupefying album from start to finish!
