This is quite simply the rarest UK Black Sabbath 1st pressing you will ever see, bar none. It is very probably unique. The fact that it made it out of the factory for general retail at all back in 1970 with such a glaring error is amazing, we have one seriously slack quality control supervisor to thank for this little beauty!  You are bidding on what can only be described as a sensational factory mispress of the legendary self titled debut LP by Black Sabbath!!!

Let's get the boring stuff outta the way. First off, this is the UK Vertigo Records UK Swirl 1st Pressing second phase of the 1970 debut, with no Phillips credit.  Now to find an original UK Vertigo Swirl pressing of this legendary record is pretty rare in itself,  however what makes this one so special is that it has had the inner gatefold section pasted on **Upside Down** (ironically Ozzy's upside down cross is now the right way up - I bet that P**ses him off!). The whole inner gatefold section is one piece and the whole thing has been pasted upside down in relation to the outer gatefold, which has been pasted in reverse to the inner. You will probably never see anything like this again, I am guessing it is unique. The condition (not that it really matters with this one!) is: vinyl = Excellent, with a beautiful shine and just a very minor hairline or two. The amazing sleeve grades as Excellent- (minus) with no stains, writing, scribbles etc. Just the general light signs of aging (i's some light seam rubbing). It has no serious issues whatsoever. Comes complete with original Vertigo swirl poly-lined inner sleeve which also grades as Excellent with no issues. I'm gonna stop nattering and let the pictures do the talking from here...
