UP FOR AUCTION IS A VERY RARE UK FIRST PRESSING OF BLACK SABBATH Self Titled LP (VERTIGO 847 903 VTY). Gatefold inner has the black background with silver print. "On the very first pressings of this, the small copyright text reads 'WARNING - Copyright subsists in all Stereo recordings' making this the very first issue sleeve. (This was a mistake and was quickly changed to 'WARNING - Copyright subsists in all VERTIGO recordings' on later pressings. This was later altered again to 'WARNING - Copyright subsists in ALL recordings'). The sleeve lists the band members in all upper case text and mis-spells Ozzie's name. (e.g. sleeve reads: "OSSIE OSBOURNE - VOCALS, HARMONICA" etc.) THE HEAVY & GLOSSY VINYL IS IN EX/VG++ CONDITION WITH ONLY A FEW LIGHT MARKS AND CLEAN LABELS. THE GATEFOLD COVER IS IN VG+ CONDITION WITH NO WRITING OR SEAM SPLITTING, DOES HAVE LIGHT SEAM WEAR. INCLUDES THE ORIGINAL VERTIGO INNER SLEEVE. CLEANED ON A VPI RECORD CLEANER.
