Description

Here is a fairly rare Edison long-play disc #10004. I acquired this with an Edison long-play console phonograph that I bought at an estate auction. Unfortunately, the machine was missing the special long-play reproducer that is required to play this record. It must not be played with any other reproducer or machine as the grooves will be seriously damaged and the record rendered useless.

This disc appears to be in beautiful shape and shows no stressed grooves or even wear at all. It is a little dusty and probably benefit from cleaning but I feel that would be best left to the new owner. I would assign this disc the E grade but it may deserve better than that. It appears that it would perform perfectly on a machine equipped with the long-play reproducer.

The labels are in fine shape and are not scuffed up or scratched. Hopefully, you can see the selections on this disc with the provided pictures but if not, email me and I will add this information to the description. I feel that the collectors that are interested in this disc probably know more about it than myself.
