Rare library Patchwork records original with pieces from Bernard Parmegiani, Jacques Loussier and others.
Some info on the release: Very rare and collectible one of the most difficult to find in the Patchwork series (Vladimir Cosma, Claude Perraudin, Jean-Pierre Decerf, Teddy Lasry, Jacques Lasry, Jean-Pierre Desvernois, Georges Delerue, Guy Boulanger, Pierre Dutour, etc.). Features Bernard Parmegiani, Jacques Loussier, Hubert Rostaing. Bernard Parmegiani is known for his musique concrete experiments joining the GRM (=Groupe des Recherches Musicales) after meeting in Paris with musique concrete master Pierre Schaeffer and having in his curriculum vitae written some of the best pieces written for the electronic or electroacoustic medium ("Violostries", De Natura Sonorum, etc.). This is one of his rare compilation appearences and maybe one of the most difficult to find items in order to complete the Parmegiani discography. Close to Pierre Henry, Luc Ferrari, Ivo Malec, Edgardo Canton, Arne Nordheim, Michel Puig, Dubravko Detoni and Iannis Xenakis. Jacques Loussier is a noted pianist and composers, well known to the public for his jazz interpretations of Johan Sebastian Bach's works, such as the Goldberg variations. He later collaborated with artists like Pink Floyd, Elton John, Sting and Yes. Known also for his lawsuit against Eminem for taking parts of his work. Most of the material in the album belongs to Jacques Loussier, while small pieces appear also from composers B. Gerard, Hubert Rostaing and A. Roizenblat. All pieces exclusive to this release, never re-released on any medium. Highly recommended.
Condition: Cover lies in excellent condition, quite well preserved with the slightest age wear (see photo). Vinyl lies in very good+ condition, has a couple of "spots" on side a:, which make it play with crackle at the 1st & 5th pieces, while on side b: there are a couple of marks occupying the 2 first pieces.
