Description

On offer here is a very rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by The Beatles called 'Revolver' and is a 1966 MONO UK 1st pressing!!!! THIS IS THE MEGA RARE 1966 '606-1' 1ST MONO PRESSING WHICH PLAYS THE WRONG MIX OF 'TOMMORROW NEVER KNOWS'!!!! ONLY THE VERY 1ST MONO PRESSINGS OF THIS LP WITH A 606-1 MATRIX ON SIDE 2 HAVE THIS MEGA RARE MIX!!!!  NOT ONLY THAT - BUT YOU WILL NOTICE THAT ON THE SIDE 2 LABEL IT HAS 'DR. ROBERT' - WHICH IS THE EARLIEST AND RAREST CREDIT!!!!  ALL LATER MONO (& STEREO) PRESSINGS (AND 1970S RE-ISSUES) HAVE 'DOCTOR ROBERT' - AND THIS OF COURSE IS VERY VERY COMMON.  BUT FINDING A COPY OF THIS LP WITH 'DR. ROBERT' ON THE LABEL INDICATES THE VERY EARLIEST AND RAREST PRESSINGS!!!!  HOWEVER WHAT MAKES THIS LP EVEN RARER AND SHOWS THAT IT IS ONE OF THE VERY EARLIEST 1ST PRESSINGS OF THIS LP - IS THAT IT HAS AN AWESOME CONDITION E.J. DAY SLEEVE!!!!   E.J.DAY SLEEVES ARE VERY VERY RARE ON THIS LP (MOST SLEEVES WERE MADE BY 'GARROD & LOFTHOUSE') AND IT IS EXTREMELY RARE TO FIND AN E.J.DAY SLEEVE ON THIS LP!!!!  BUT NOT ONLY THAT - WHAT MAKES THIS LP EVEN RARER IS THAT THIS ONE IS THE VERY EARLIEST 1ST MONO PRESSING WITH 1/G 1/R MOTHER AND STAMPER CODES!!!!  THIS SHOWS THIS TO BE THE VERY VERY 1ST PRESSING OF THIS LP!!!!  THERE IS ALSO A 'SAMPLE' STICKER ON SIDE 2 OF THE LP - ANOTHER GOOD INDICATOR OF JUST HOW EARLY IN THE PRESSING RUN THIS LP REALLY IS!!!!  SO NOT ONLY IS THIS A MASSIVELY RARE 606-1 MONO 1ST PRESSING - BUT IT HAS THE RAREST POSSIBLE 1ST PRESS E.J.DAY COVER, AND 1/G 1/R MOTHER AND STAMPERS!!!!  THIS LP IS MASSIVELY RARE IN EVERY RESPECT - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MEGA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!! This is the ORIGINAL MONO UK 1st pressing from 1966 and is in great condition and plays VERY well indeed!!!! This is an ORIGINAL 1st Pressing with a Yellow & Black Label, a KT tax code, a 1st Press 'patents applied for' white inner sleeve, 'Sold in the UK' text, and the 'Gramophone Company' edge text. The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl. The matrix numbers are XEX 605-2 & XEX 606-1.  The Cat. No is PMC 7009 on the ORIGINAL Yellow & Black Parlophone label (see picture) and is a MONO 1st pressing!!!! All the tracks are Pure quality Beatles at their best!!!! Any fan of The Beatles, or 60s music in general, will want to have this in their collection!!!!

The record labels are in STUNNING condition (see pictures) with NO writing, and only a few light spindle marks!!!! The vinyl is in great condition and plays VERY well!!!! Most of these 60s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO nasty deep scratches, a few light hairlines, 1 small scuff type mark, a few scufflines, and only a few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!! THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK!!!!  It is great to find that the playing of the record is as STUNNING as the visual!!!! It plays with only a VERY few clicks/pops, NO sticking, NO jumps, only VERY slight crackle in places, and only some VERY faint low level background noise on the occassional gap and the run on grooves.  And of course the MOST IMPORTANT track 'Tommorrow Never Knows' with the different mix plays BRILLIANTLY!!!!  The record must grade Very Good (Minus) (PROPERLY graded, NOT trashed)!!!! Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The record also comes in its ORIGINAL 1st Press 'patents applied for' white inner!!!! The FLIPBACK MEGA RARE 'E.J.Day' 1st Press Cover is in STUNNING condition!!!! It has NO edge wear, NO spinal wear, only VERY slight corner wear (NOT through the colour), NO yellowing, only a VERY few light creases (cover is VERY flat looking) and NO writing!!!! The opening edge is beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!! Even the unlaminated back of the cover is in STUNNING condition with NO writing, NO grubbyness, NO yellowing and barely ANY rubbing AT ALL (only a VERY faint touch in the bottom left corner)!!!! There is also NO splits, NO rips, and NO tears!!!! The cover must grade Excellent (Minus) if not FULL Excellent!!!! DONT MISS OUT ON THIS INCREDIBLY RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!!  THIS IS THE EARLIEST POSSIBLE MONO 1ST '606-1' PRESSING OF THIS RARE LP WHICH PLAYS THE WRONG MIX OF 'TOMMORROW NEVER KNOWS'!!!!  DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MEGA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
