1966 UK 1st PRESS *MONO* LP
**XEX 606-1**
This UK 1st day pressing includes the rare 'remix 11' version of 'Tomorrow Never Knows' with the XEX 606-1 side 2 matrix.
This excellent and rare 1966 first pressing mono copy is on the black & yellow Parlophone label PMC 7009
Both labels carry the 'Sold in UK..' text and 'Gramophone Co Ltd...' rims
Label correctly spells 'Dr Robert'
The 'KT' tax/price code visible on the side two label.
Housed in a front laminated, flipback 'Ernest J. Day' sleeve
Complete with original inner-sleeve
Matrix numbers: XEX 605-2 & XEX 606-1
Stamper numbers: 1/GO & 3/GA
CONDITION
DiscVisual : EXCELLENT
This record has been well looked after. Its surfaces are very clean and bright and retain their deep gloss shine.
There are just a few small marks when the surfaces are examined under intense direct light.
100% flat on the turntable with no dishing or warping.
Audio : EXCELLENT MINUS
Not overplayed, the music all still sounds fresh and clean with bright vocals and deep bass.
Some very light intermittent 'crackle' is audible under the music on some tracks but NO groove damage/distortion is evident.
There are no heavy clicks, pops, jumps or repeats.

A very strong and clean sleeve retaining its high gloss laminate and displaying just very light handling and storage wear.
There is a 'bump' to the lower left corner but the opening edge is clean and unworn on front and rear.
The rear panel is clean, black and unmarked with all flipbacks intact and undamaged.
The spine is clean, square and readable and all seams are strong and unsplit.
