RECENTLY I WAS LUCKY ENOUGH TO ACCQUIRE AN OUTSTANDING COLLECTION OF BEATLES RARITYS IN FANTASTIC CONDITION. THE COLLECTION CONSISTED OF SOME OF THE RAREST RECORDS IN THE BEATLES CATALOGUE - BUT THIS HAS TO BE ONE OF THE RAREST ITEMS EVER!!!! IT IS AN INCREDIBLE BLACK AND GOLD PRESSING OF 'PLEASE PLEASE ME' BY THE BEATLES ON THE MEGA RARE BLACK AND GOLD LABEL AND IS IN STUNNING CONDITION!!!! THIS HAS TO BE ONE OF THE BEST CONDITIONED BLACK & GOLD PRESSINGS OF PLEASE PLEASE ME YOU WILL EVER SEE!!!! AMAZINGLY - THE LABELS ARE 100% PERFECT WITH NO SPINDLE MARKS AT ALL!!!! I DOUBT IF THIS RECORD HAS EVER BEEN PLAYED!!!! NOT ONLY THIS BUT IT HAS A MEGA RARE INSERT!!!! THE INSERT IS AN EMI PARLOPHONE ADVERTISING INSERT ADVERTISING OTHER RECORDS ON THE PARLOPHONE LABEL!!!! HOWEVER WHAT MAKES THIS INSERT INCREDIBLY RARE - IS THAT IT IS THE CORRECT INSERT!!!! MOST OF THESE ADVERTISING INSERTS THAT TURN UP ARE LATER INSERTS AND FEATURE LISTINGS OF THE BEATLES LPS AND OTHER LPS FEATURED AT THE TIME. BUT WHAT MAKES THIS INSERT SO RARE IS THAT IT FEATURES LPS AVAILABLE JUST BEFORE 'PLEASE PLEASE ME' WAS RELEASED MAKING IT EXACTLY THE CORRECT INSERT FOR THIS LP!!!! IT IS AMAZING THAT THE INSERT IS STILL THERE MOST WOULD HAVE DISCARDED AND THROWN AWAY - BUT THIS LP WAS CARED FOR IMMACULATELY AND THE INSERT HAS ALWAYS STAYED INSIDE THE COVER WHERE IT WAS FIRST PUT IN BACK IN 1963!!!! THIS SIMPLY HAS TO BE ONE OF THE RAREST AND BEST CONDITIONED COPIES OF THIS AWESOME LP TO BE OFFERED FOR SALE EVER!!!! DONT MISS OUT YOU SURELY WONT GET ANOTHER CHANCE!!!!
This is the VERY RARE Black & Gold MONO UK 1963 Pressing called 'Please Please Me' and is the RAREST Black & Gold variation with the 'Northern Songs' Credits to BOTH labels!!!! The E.J.Day Cover is also a VERY early 1st Pressing with the 'Angus Bean' photo credit set to the far right!!!! This is the ORIGINAL MONO UK pressing from 1963 and is in STUNNING condition!!!! This is an ORIGINAL Black & Gold pressing, with the Black & Gold label (with the RARER Northern Songs Credits) and is in AWESOME condition. It also has 'The Parlophone Company' edge text, an MT tax code, its ORIGINAL earlier E.J.Day Sleeve (with the Angus McBean credit over to the right) and a Polythene lined Emitex inner. The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl. The matrix numbers are XEX 421-1N & XEX 422-1N. The stamper codes are 2/RG & 1/GA. The Cat. No is PMC 1202 on the ORIGINAL Black & Gold Parlophone label (see picture) and is a MONO pressing!!!! All the tracks are Pure quality Beatles at their best!!!! Any fan of The Beatles, or 60s music in general, will want to have this in their collection!!!!
The record labels are in 100% PERFECT condition (see pictures) with NO wear, NO writing, and AMAZINGLY - NO SPINDLE MARKS AT ALL!!!! LOOK AT THE PICTURES OF THE LABELS (see pictures) TOTALLY AWESOME!!!! The vinyl is in STUNNING condition!!!! As many collectors know - Black and Gold Records are the VERY hardest Beatles Pressings to find in anywhere near decent condition. Most are found damaged and barely playable. However this one is NOT - IT IS AWESOME!!!! This copy is in STUNNING condition and has NO scratches, NO hairlines and only a very VERY few of the lightest surface marks (MEGA LIGHT) only visible under the very VERY brightest of lights and of course have ABSOLUTELY NO effect on play (and are barely visible AT ALL)!!!! THIS IS AN INCREDIBLE COPY - THE RECORD SHINES ABSOLUTELY 100% LIKE NEW - AND I DOUBT WHETHER THIS RECORED HAS EVER SEEN A TURNTABLE!!!! ITS AS SIMPLE AS THAT!!!! It is also great to find that the record plays as STUNNINGLY as the visual with NO pops, NO sticking, NO jumps, and NO crackle!!!! The record must grade MINT(Minus) - and this record has to be seen to be believed!!!! Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The record also comes in its ORIGINAL 'thicker paper' POLYTHENE lined Emitex inner sleeve!!!! THE INSERT IS IN 100% PERFECT CONDITION AND I DOUBT IF IT HAS EVER BEEN OUT OF THE RECORDS COVER!!!!
The ORIGINAL E.J.Day (Angus McBean - far right) FLIPBACK Cover is in STUNNING condition for its age!!!! IT IS 100% TOTALLY FLAT!!!! HOW MANY GOLD COVERS DO YOU FIND LIKE THAT!!!! It has NO edge wear, NO spinal wear, virtually NO corner wear (ALL perfectly square and NOTHING through the colour), NO creases and NO writing!!!! The opening edge is RAZOR straight with NO feathering!!!! Even the unlaminated back of the cover is in STUNNING condition with NO writing, NO grubbyness, and NO yellowing (apart from the merest hint of yellowing to the edges of the flipbacks - BARELY ANY)!!!! The cover must grade MINT(Minus)!!!! THIS IS A TRULY UNIQUE ITEM AND ONE YOU WONT SEE AGAIN - DONT MISS OUT!!!!
TAKE A LOOK AT THE OUTSTANDING PICTURES - I DO MY BEST TO SHOW THE RECORD FROM ALL ANGLES AND MAKE THE PICTURES AS CLEAR AS POSSIBLE - THERE IS NOTHING TO HIDE!!!!
