On offer here is a very rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by The Beatles called 'Please Please Me' and is a Stereo UK 1st pressing!!!! THIS IS BY FAR THE RAREST & MOST SOUGHT AFTER UK BEATLES LP!!!!  IT IS SIMPLY INCREDIBLE!!!! IT IS THOUGHT THAT ONLY 900 COPIES OF THIS LP WAS EVER PRESSED ON THE BLACK AND GOLD LABEL IN STEREO!!!! AND FOR ONCE IT IS BRILLIANT CONDITION!!!!  MOST COPIES THAT TURN UP BARELY PLAY AND THE COVERS ARE USUALLY SWOPPED OR RIPPED TO BITS.  BUT NOT THIS ONE!!!! THIS IS IN BRILLIANT CONDITION WITH ABSOLUTELY AWESOME LABELS, AND ITS ORIGINAL 1ST PRESS STEREO COVER!!!! THIS IS ALSO A BLACK & GOLD STEREO 1ST PRESSING - WITH DICK JAMES CREDITS ON BOTH SIDES!!!! THIS IS ALSO THE VERY EARLIEST POSSIBLE BLACK & GOLD STEREO PRESSING - WITH 1G/1R MOTHER AND STAMPERS!!!!  THAT MEANS THAT THIS IS THE VERY EARLIEST POSSIBLE STEREO 1ST PRESSING AND THIS WOULD HAVE BEEN ONE OF THE FIRST 300 COPIES PRESSED!!!! THIS IS AN OUTSTANDING OPPORTUNITY TO OWN A REAL 'PIECE OF HISTORY'!!!! This is the ORIGINAL Stereo UK Black & Gold 1st pressing from 1963 and is in brilliant condition!!!! It is a MEGA RARE 1G/1R 1st Pressing and it also has 'The Parlophone Company' edge text, and a Polythene lined Emitex inner. It also has the ORIGINAL 'Black & Gold' E.J.Day 1st Press Stereo cover with 'Angus McBean'  pushed far to the right on the cover front. It is also IMPORTANT to note - that NOT ALL of the Black and Gold covers were like this - only the very early copies. The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl. The matrix numbers are YEX 94-1 & YEX 95-1. The stamper codes are 1/G & 1/R. THESE ARE THE EARLIEST MOTHERS & STAMPERS!!!!  The record also has an ZMT Tax coding. The Cat. No is PCS 3042 on the ORIGINAL Black & Gold Parlophone label (see picture) and is a Black & Gold Stereo 1st pressing!!!! All the tracks are Pure quality Beatles at their best!!!! Any fan of The Beatles, or 60s music in general, will want to have this in their collection!!!!

The record labels are in STUNNING condition (see pictures) with NO wear, NO writing, and only a VERY few light spindle marks!!!! HAVE A LOOK AT MY CLOSE UP PICTURES!!!!  WHEN WILL YOU EVER SEE BLACK & GOLD STEREO 1ST PRESS LABELS LIKE THIS AGAIN!!!!  THESE ARE AN AWESOME SET OF LABELS!!!! AS MANY COLLECTORS KNOW - THESE BLACK & GOLD LABELS OFTEN TURN UP WITH VERY DULLED WRITING, AND HEAVY WEAR. BUT NOT THESE LABELS!!!! THESE ARE STUNNING!!!! TAKE A LOOK AT THE PICTURES!!!!  IF IS VERY HARD TO FIND BETTER LABELS THAN THESE!!!!  The vinyl is in brilliant condition!!!! As I mentioned before - most of these Black & gold copies turn up in barely playable condition and are heavily worn. This one is NOT and has a BEAUTIFUL 'just pressed' look!!!!  Even when held to light - the record looks VERY impressive and only has one NON sounding mark, a couple of light scufflines, 1 small hairline, and only some VERY light general paper scuffing only visible under bright light!!!! THIS RECORD IS TRULY SUPERB COMPARED TO MOST BLACK AND GOLD STEREOS!!!! AWESOME LABELS AND A BRILLIANT RECORD!!!! Importantly it is also great to find that the record plays as STUNNINGLY as the visual with NO sticking, NO jumps, and NO crackle!!!! In fact I was impressed with the clarity of this incredible record with NONE of distortion so often found on these early black and gold pressings. It is VERY clear that this record wasnt played much AT ALL and with the correct needle!!!! There are a VERY few low level clicks in places, but these really are VERY few indeed and all the tracks play STUNNINGLY with crystal clear audio!!!! All the tracks play STUNNINGLY and even the gaps and run off groove are as near to silent as could possibly be expected!!!! REMEMBER - ALMOST ALL OF THESE BLACK AND GOLD RECORDS ONLY TURN UP IN 'JUST' PLAYABLE CONDITION - SO THIS COPY IS TRULY STUNNING IS EVERY RESPECT!!!! However I WILL NOT fall into the trap of overgrading to compensate for age and the record must PROPERLY grade Very Good+ (PROPERLY graded - NOT trashed)!!!! IT WILL BE VERY VERY HARD TO FIND ANOTHER COPY OF THIS RECORD IN THIS CONDITION AGAIN!!!! Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! The record also comes in its ORIGINAL POLYTHENE lined Emitex inner sleeve which is in STUNNING condition!!!!

The E.J.Day FLIPBACK 1st Press Cover is in brilliant condition considering its age and rarity!!!! THIS IS THE ORIGINAL 1ST PRESS STEREO COVER (with Angus McBean far right) - and is VERY rare in its own right!!!!  It has NO spinal wear (perfect side words), only slight corner wear (NO splits), only a few creases and NO writing!!!! The opening edge is beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!! Even the unlaminated back of the cover is in STUNNING condition with NO writing, NO grubbyness, and NO yellowing!!!! There is also NO splits, NO rips, and NO tears!!!! This cover has to be one the BEST CONDITIONED examples of the 'earliest' 'Please Please Me' Stereo covers you can find!!!! The only faults to mention is some typical slight roughening to the top/bottom edges through storage (NOT through the colour), and only some VERY light creases (NOT tears) to the VERY edge of the bottom rear flipback. However the cover really is in INCREDIBLE condition for an early Stereo Black & Gold cover with NO flipback loss, NO splits, and NO staining!!!! The cover must grade Very Good (PROPERLY graded - NOT trashed) if not better!!!!
