1962 The Beatles - Love Me Do / P.S. I Love You. 45-R 4949.

This is a 1962 UK 1st pressing FACTORY SAMPLE DEMO of The Beatles - Love Me Do / P.S. I Love You 7" single. These initial early 1st pressings would have been given out to reviewers and radio stations prior to the actual release date.

The vinyl features the 'Recording First Published 1962' text and has the 'Parlophone Co. Ltd....' rim print in upper and lower case indicating a 1st UK press. Also features the 'PT' tax code on side 1. This comes with an original Parlophone record company sleeve.

The vinyl is in VERY GOOD++ overall condition. BUT unfortunately has damage to the run-in groove and start of the record. It looks as if at some point a staple has attached it to a wall or scrapbook???? Side 1 plays fine but the staple mark???? causes poor playback on side 2 (just at the very beginning).

VINYL VISUALLY GRADED BASED ON UK RECORD COLLECTOR GRADES WITH A + OR -.
