 BEATLES DEMO – SOMETHING / COME TOGETHER ON PARLOPHONE


Details:

Taken from the Abbey Road Lp (Apple) but released as a demonstration copy on the Parlophone label. R 5814. This demo is incredibly hard to find with the original centre still intact. This is (as far as I can tell) the first time a complete demo of Something / Come Together has been offered for sale ebay. LOW RESERVE...Happy bidding!

Tracks:
A side: Something (Matrix: 7XCE 21369  45)
B side: Come Together (Matrix: 7XCE 21370  45)

Scheduled for release: 31.10.69

KT stamps in the 1 o’clock position on the A side and 12 o’clock position on the B side.

CONDITION:

A note on grading. I use the RC standard grading policy with the addition of a + or – to denote a slight increase or decrease in grade. The record has been played once for aural grading a on a Garrard 301 with a a Shure V 15 V cart and inspected under 100W bulb for visual grade.

Label side A : Clean and crisp with no age fading (brighter than in pictures) minimal wear = EX-

Label Side B: Again Clean and Crisp with minimal wear (brighter than in pictures) EX-

Vinyl Side A: Paper scuffs and a few marks. I recorded 1 minute or so of audio from the actual disk to illustrate the aural grade. A side grades VG+. Aural VG+ visual.  To listen to  the sound clip  of the A side please cut & paste  the following:
