Description

Röyksopp’s 2002 album Melody A.M.
 Röyksopp Vinyl designed by Banksy

A rare Röyksopp record featuring a cover painted by Banksy has become the most expensive record sold on Discogs this year.

Only 100 copies of the Bansky-painted record exist, after the Norwegian duo asked him to put his personal touch on a special vinyl edition of their 2002 album, 'Melody A.M.'. The latest copy to sell via the music marketplace, which features Banksy's personally spraypainted artwork, went for $10,256 in September, which is the most a copy of the record has ever fetched on Discogs. You can see the minimalist artwork for yourself above.

it’s one of only 100 hand-painted by Banksy himself, back in 2002.
