Description
This is the original UK LP by BAKERLOO, Self-Titled UK LP, 1st Press stereo, released in 1969 on the HARVEST label SHVL 762, with "GRAMOPHONE CO.LTD" rim credit on the labels, and without EMI label credits. Matrix numbers are, SHVL 762 A-2, SIDE 2:- SHVL 762 B-2, stamper codes are, SIDE 1:- 1/R, SIDE 2:- 1/G. The 1st issue UK E.J DAY gatefold cover is in a STUNNING NEAR MINT condition!, super clean and crisp, boasting razor sharp edges and corners, the spine is fully intact, no damage, broad, and perfectly readable, inside is snow white, their is no unwanted writing, and no seam splits, a STUNNING COVER!. The vinyl is in VG+++ condition, the vinyl plays superbly, with only a little very light crackle, mainly to be heard inbetween tracks, and in the very quite sections, their is 1-2 very light clicks/pops in only 1-2 places on the LP, they DONOT jump or stick, and play through perfectly, and are so quick and short if you blinked you would miss them! and donot spoil the otherwise stunning audio experinece. But for the very minor forementioned, the vinyl plays superbly with superb crisp clarity, warmth and depth, the quality of the stereo is BREATHTAKING!, delivering a high octane of punchy in your face quality, the audio almost leaps out at you!, such is the quality of the stereo, this is best emphasized by the bass guitarist Terry Poole, a wondefully gifted and creative musician, and Keith Baker a superb drummer, the bass and drums can be heard with such clarity espicially on the non-vocal scetions of the LP, a STUNNING AUDIO EXPERIENCE! The label's are in EX++ condition, minimal wear, their is no unwanted writing, and no scuffs, little or no wear to the spindal hole, great label's. The vinyl is housed in a white inner sleeve and in EX+++ condition, lovely and clean, with no unwanted writing, and no seam splits. Altogether a very respectable copy of this ULRTA RARE original 1st press UK LP by BAKERLOO, A ABSOLUTE CLASSIC PROG LP, laced with some superb blues tracks, they ONLY released this LP! a BRILLIANT LP!.
