Description

Welcome ! Up for auction is a used copy of Aynsley Dunbar's 1968 album "Doctor Dunbar's Prescription" released on Liberty Records. Catalogue number is LBS 83177E. This is a stereo pressing. This is also an original Liberty Records release manufactured in the United Kingdom. Features the blue and turquoise label. Record is VG-/VG with minimal surface wear. It does not look like it was played too much. There are a few very light scuffs across the playback surface but does not appear to be too bad. The vinyl appears to be very nice and clean overall with the exception of a few light marks. The label is in nice shape with only a couple of light spindle marks. We played this with a Sumiko Pearl cartridge and routed the audio through an Adcom two-channel amplifier. Sounds real nice. Contains a few light clicks and pops throughout but are not majorly audible. Cover is VG-/VG. The cover contains what could be the original cellophane intact. The plastic is not tight, it is pretty loose but it looks like it has spared the cover any major shelf wear over the years. The Clarifoil is in really nice shape. It has a few light scratches but are really not all that bad. The cover is still nice and glossy. The back of the cover is in real nice shape as well. Some of the wear has managed to rub through the cellophane a little bit but it is really light. There are a few creases in the cover but not bad. The spine is in very good shape and is still readable when upon a shelf. There is no writing on the cover nor are there any seam splits. Corner dents are minimal. The cover is really groovy; it was designed by Hipgnosis. Please check out the photographs for a further visual description.
