Description
Andwella
'World's End'
Reflection, UK, 1970
REF L6
CLEVERLY PERFORMED and arranged period progressive rock with a hard rockin' undercurrent bringing to mind such comparisons as obscure contempoarary grafters Life, Medicene Head, Rare Bird, Hookfoot and, not surprisingly, Family.
Musically they evoke contemporary hardish prog rock vibes with long tracks and precise arrangements entwined with crafty instrumentation and great vocals from David Lewis who would later issued a solo album in the mid 70s.
Originating from Northern Ireland, the band started life as the super collectable Andwell's Dream before morphing into Andwella. One of the better obscure prog rock albums of the period and tough to find in such great shape.
