PLEASE READ BEFORE BIDDING: Please read the entire auction listing, including shipping costs, before writing to ask a question. OUR GOAL IS CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. In order to meet that goal, we will ALWAYS work with our customers on any concerns that may arise. In the unlikely instance that you feel the need to open a resolution dispute before working with us, you will immediately be blocked from any further chance to acquire the rare music we present each and every week. Payment is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has became very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable and will result in blocking the bidder. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our 8000 plus positive feedback. We use a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. Please give us 5 stars in each category through the feedback system, and we will be able to effectively continue to fulfill your passion for rare and collectible music! We have served thousands of satisfied customers - far more than our feedback records indicate - and our aim is to continue to do so. Thank you for your interest and support. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

ACID ARCHIVES "FUZZ GARAGE" BEAST !!!
100% little seen Original first pressing
KILLER RATED fuzzy underground album recorded back in the '70s and released as a private pressing of ONLY 500 copies. The band formed in Baltimore, Maryland by Danny Amburn, John Holt, Joe Klimas, Mark Beyder and Bob Wells. Their album, heavy at places, is full of fuzz-guitarwork with 60's garage & British '60s rocker influences and low-budget production (think of Boa or Shadrack albums) while a couple of songs have a wild and underground approach to rural rock. All over the soundis minimalist and concise, devoid of any hippie dreams, very appealing in its honesty. Imagine the guys in Clap after a week of hard factory shifts, or Boa's older Viet Vet brothers. Killer 60s garage-psych moves on "Looking Glass World" is a highpoint with fuzz-lead and bass runs straight out of "Psychedelic Disaster Whirl"; a couple of tracks show a more sensitive melodic side that works well too. A mysterious "1968" date on the sleeve and label had people thinking the LP was from the late 60s, an indication of its timeless nature.
This album exists in a time warp. Its from the midst of the '70s era, but sounds genuinely 60s garage the way no neo-garage band ever did! The fuzz guitars are everpresent, and the songs are pure garage rock, rocking hard without ever sounding remotely "hard rock." The sound is as cheap as can be, which only accentuates the coolness of the fuzz. Despite some awkward singing, there are a lot of catchy melodies here, and one can only imagine the Baltimorians who discovered "Nuggets" in the 70s went nuts over this band. A few songs flirt with rural rock, but basically its teen-sounding angst, just as cool as their peers from 10 years past.
The title track talks as tough as George Brigman’s classic Baltimore-as-urban-wasteland 1975 album, Jungle Rot and at point the street-fighting vibe is just as cranky while the fuzz wails like sirens and the mistaken copyright date on the sleeve – 1968 – points to revolution in the air.
