Description
Early country blues pioneer Charley Patton's epic account of the great 1927 Mississippi River flood and its aftermath. A gripping, intense performance from someone who obviously witnessed it firsthand. Record plays remarkably well, very loud and clear, with minimal surface noise. The B side has a small edge flake, nowhere near the playing surface.
