ltd Beatles Paperback Writer single record store day 1 of 1000 The Beatles’ classic 1966 single ‘Paperback Writer‘ is one of 12 new vinyls being released through Parlophone across the UK shortly to celebrate Record Store Day. It will be backed by the b-side ‘Rain‘ as it was originally.
‘Paperback Writer‘ was first released in the UK in June 1966 and stayed at no.1 in the charts for two weeks. It is noted for being the group’s first UK single that could not be considered as a ‘love song’, and came two months before the release of The Beatles’ seventh studio album ‘Revolver‘
