Description

John Bender "I Don't Remember Now" Record Sluts, no cat# given, 1980. Lp VG+ (sleeve marks); insert EX; hand-stamped, numbered, chipboard jacket EX- (very minor corner bumps). *** Terrific homemade electro by this underground hero. Bender's great, self-released lps are extremely sought-after, as they are some of the finest examples of DIY electroni wave/pop/experimentalism ever produced. Includes a nice take on "It's a Rainy Day" by krautrock pioneers, Faust. Great hand-decorated jacket; this copy is #834. Not to be missed! References: Tuxedomoon, Liasons Dangereuses, Die Todliche Doris, Deutche Amerikanische Freundschaft (DAF), Tubeway Army, NOIA, Throbbing Gristle, Cabaret Voltaire, Arthur Russell. *** Please see my other auctions, too, as I will always have exciting stuff related to these areas of musical interest: avant garde, free jazz, post punk, Fluxus, experimental, improvisation, folk blues, ethnic international. *** Payment: Paypal strongly preferred. Money orders are fine. Cash is not advised and is sent at your own risk. Personal checks not accepted. Priority postage within USA: $5.00 for one single album; double album or two separate lps $7.00; Media mail costs less, but takes a bit longer. International winner will pay actual postage/packaging, to be calculated after auction's close. Payment to be received within ten days of auction's close. THANKS.
