led zeppelin DEBUT lp ORIGINAL purple/brown label RARE

on the atlantic records label, catalog number SD 8216.....a true, ORIGINAL stereo pressing, purple and brown label, from 1969.   9 tracks.  most people don't even realize that this lp came out on the purple and brown atlantic label, due to it being released just as atlantic was changing over to it's green and orange label.......in my twenty years of collecting records, this is the first time i have ever had one of these.....and i've seen a ton (perhaps literally) of led zeppelin records.   their classic debut lp, these guys came out of the gate sprinting, with a fully developed sound.......a true classic lp.  don't miss this rare opportunity to own this led zeppelin rarity.  okay, enough hyperbole......on  to the details:  includes the correct original atlantic sleeve, with no led zeppelin covers pictured, mind you, which has no splits, just a bit of wear.  cover is strong VG+, with some minor seam and corner wear, tiny corner dent in lower right corner.   vinyl is strong VG+ as well, with just a few very light paper scuffs.   vinyl has been cleaned on a VPI.    check my other auctions this week for many more great classic rock, psych, private,  prog,  folk,  xian & other miscellaneous freak-outs........lots of great stuff this week, buy a bunch and save on shipping.
