THIS IS A VERY RARE PRESSING OF ONE OF THE BEST ALBUMS OF ALL TIME!!
**********Label variant: (Atco) purple/brown Stereo labels that were only produced on Atlantic releases when pressed at RCA Records Pressing plant, Indianapolis. Some say these issues are "club" issues but no proof on release. Others feel that these were created from stock Atco labels to fill the need. "Club" or press error, a very rare label.***********
**********This label is rare and only appeared on a few titles from around 8130 to 8200. The Led Zeppelin album error commands premium prices, since not only is the label in error, but side 1 of the album is a different mix from the regular pressing.*********

Also side 2 does sound a little different from the standard issue. There is a long pause between "Black Mountain Side" and "Communication Breakdown", where the standard issue had no silence at all. And there is an unusually long silence between "Communication Breakdown" and "I Can't Quit You Baby", much longer than was on the standard issue.

The vinyl itself is EXCELLENT MINUS (VISUAL GRADE) while the SOUND TEST reveals an EXCELLENT sound quality!! There are 3 scuff marks on side 1 as shown in photo. Please zoom in. These 'scuffs' are not deep enough to penetrate to the grooves. They run across pretty much the entire track of 'Babe, I'm Gonna Leave You'. and one extends into the next track. They are inconsequential. I just listened to it 3 times and the sound is the same as the rest of the record---EXQUISITE!!!! The sound quality of this vinyl is exceptional AND it has not been professionally cleaned, so you could get it to sound even better. THIS IS A DIFFERENT MIX THAN FOUND ON ALL THE OTHER PRESSINGS!!!  THERE IS A RESOUNDING DEPTH TO THIS ALBUM NOT FOUND ON OTHER RELEASES.

Nice, thick vinyl. Shiny and lusterous. The cover itself is very solid at least VG++. NO WRITING, STAINS OR SPLITTING. Light general wear. I strive to grade accurately and use goldmine standards. Please see my 100% positive feedback.
