Description

Concrete Rubber Band-1974 "Risen Savior", aas-1164-lp stereo, american artist... MEGA RARE HEAVY FUZZ PRIVATE LP!!!... This is "THE CONCRETE RUBBER BAND`S MONSTER PSYCH LP!!!". It was given to me DIRECTLY BY BAND MEMBER DUNCAN LONG... stock copies of this album have sold for well over $1000.00!!! ~ CONDIDTION OF THE LP ( the jacket is in VG+ condition a few stains and "kevin" written in blue pen on the V & the record is in VG minus, more than a few scracthes on both sides )....The album plays VG++ on each side.....You will love this album, it is a "TRUE MONSTER" that rarely comes up for sale. DON`T MISS OUT ON THIS OPPERTUNITY!!~~"I have a GREAT FEEDBACK RATEING - Bid With Confidence!!"..... some of the most "out there" psychedelic sounds can be found on this kansas trio`s "mega-rare-bear" custom LP!...one of the first christian groups to tinker with synthesizers and be experimental at the same time. the song "CHRISTIAN", for example, opens with a bach fugue before layering in it`s steady rock beat punchuated with subterranean wah-wah guitar and a wild, heavily modulated synth lead..... the song "WICKED", opens side two with a bizzare amalogam of what soumds like synthesized, bubbling lava pits, frequency oscillations, distorted,sic-fi vocals and shortwave, static patterns. this is christian psychedelia at it`s most underground and extreme with all the ear marks of a bad drug trip which, given the songs dark subject matter, work just fine..... likewise, "WHAT SHALL WE DO?" opens witha lengthy outpouring of some of the most visious, distorted fuzz guitar ever, then relaxes into a spooky, dream-like ballad before it climaxes with a flying saucer effect that sounds straight out of DARK SIDE OF THE MOON..... there are several, fine and moody garage tracks here as well. difficult to describe they are highly listenable and quite creative. dense echoes lend to the homemade feel of the entire project...a Monster for sure, with a 500 lp made at the initial pressing..... the band: jan long-vocals,organ,electrc piano and harpsicord. bob rhodes-percussion duncan long-vocals,organ,synthesizer and guitar..... the songs: risen savior, what shall we do?, holy, holy, holy, passover, wicked, christian, dreamers, hosanna, jesus..... You are Bidding on a Original "Concrete Rubber Band" album
