Description
ZOOT SIMS - ZOOT, Argo LP-608, black label, deep groove pressing.
Condition of record is VG+, no scratches, some light scuffing, several spindle marks, plays with light occasional surface noise but the sound is crisp and clear. Jacket shows considerable wear, especially noticeable on back, seams have been repaired all the way around with clear tape. There is some staining from old tape repair.
This is one of Zoot's greatest sessions, recorded in 1956. The band is Zoot Sims (alto & tenor saxes), Johnny Williams (piano), Knobby Totah (bass), Gus Johnson (drums).

M = Mint. Brand new, unplayed.
VG = Very good to excellent. Some evidence of having been played, with no audible defect.
G = Good. Noticeable wear, visual and audible. Records with slight surface noise and/or scuffs fall into this category.
F = More severe damage, distracting surface noise. Only used in incidence of extreme rarity.
P = Poor condition, proves existence of record only.
