This is an excellent copy of the seminal post punk first album by Joy Division. A masterpiece of music production by Martin Hannett, the album oozes sinister and portentous discord which mirrors the poverty of Manchester at the turn of the 80's. The vinyl has a few surface marks but is scratch free with only a little static at between tracks and it has excellent, clear audio throughout: I would describe the audio as near mint. The sleeve is in near mint condition for it being 40 years of age. The original white inner sleeve has been kept well but has some marks and all in all this is an excellent copy of this seminal album.
I am a collector of 1960's and Punk records and all the albums have been regularly cleaned and played on a pioneer PL 12D and Rega turntable using both elliptical and spherical styli so that I can give you an honest evaluation of sound quality and not just a visual inspection. I have played the album through several times using an Ortofon 2M Blue, a cartridge that can be unforgiving, and am really pleased with the audio quality. You will be too.
I value the records I sell appropriately and so can be a little higher than others, but you can buy with confidence that the record will be as described and of a quality that will grace your turntable. All records will have a plastic protective cover and will be sent in a proper record mailer. Postage costs include full insurance for loss or damage in transport.
