About This Record.  This a very cool and sought after incredibly rare UK original copy of the Zombies LP entitled Odessey & Oracle from 1968.  original stereo version that sounds GREAT!  Tough to upgrade!  Sorry about my reserve, but this is a very rare beast of a record that is on everyone’s list to acquire!  The cover is nicer than any other known copies to come up for sale recently, and the vinyl is not far if any behind.

Vinyl Condition.  VG+ to EX-.  The vinyl plays EX+ to Near Mint, but there are about 10-12 ticks from a small scratch in the 3rd song on Side 1, and there are 2 or 3 ticks on Side 2 on the song Rose for Emily.  Light paper marks from sliding the vinyl in and out of the paper sleeve (does not look like it was ever unsleeved, and contains original plain white paper sleeve).  So, EX- but for these two issues the vinyl would be Near Mint minus. 

Cover Condition.  Conservative EX.  See all my photos!  Just some minor tears along the record opening, and very minor corner wear.  And very very light “bubbling” on back cover top right where sticker was removed.  These LPs had giant stickers on the back cover, and this one was removed more successfully than most (check out the last stereo copy that sold on eBay, and its horrible back cover rip).  The last stereo copy of this LP that turned up and sold for $600+ had a major major rip on the back cover unlike this one, athough the vinyl might have been better than the vinyl on ine.  Very tough if not impossible to upgrade given how fragile this cover is, and how difficult it is to preserve.  This has been sleeved and carefully stored for decades by me.

Label Condition.  EX (light wear)/EX+.  Very nice.

About Me.  I have been a Record Collector for over 35 years.  With a kid in college, I often sell records so I can buy more vinyl or, in this case, pay the last college tuition bills of the year!  99% of what I sell is vinyl; read my Feedback! Common LPs are a waste of your time and mine!    I bought this many years ago during my travels and have kept in well preserved.  This comes in a new rice paper equivalent sleeve, and new plastic sleeve.
