Description

The Zombies - Odessey And Oracle ( 1968 CBS UK original first pressing A2/B2 matrices. Stereo. S 63280 ). The one everybody seems to want just now !..... The classic British answer to " Pet Sounds "... acid pop/psych at it's very finest. And SO scarce now as a genuine first British pressing. Front laminated cover is gorgeous . E.J. Day manufactured. Minimal edge creasing. Lovely crisp opening edges. The rear of this album is usually tired and grubby , not this one.... pristine and clean... Tiny asterisks at certain titles . So clean though . Very unusual to get it like this. No edge rubbing. 100% legible spine. Stain free. EX PLUS. original CBS inner still present and intact. EX. Vinyl lies flat and true on the platter. Iconic bright textured labels show some spindle traces. Only VERY first pressing runs have rough textured labels. Later pressings are smooth . NEAR EX. Playing surfaces have several light marks from sleeve removal. Not scratches. Very strong player. Slight low level " rumble " heard between tracks. Generally fantastic audio though, dynamic Stereo panning only heard on these originals. Easily the best way to experience this wonderful album. VG PLUS.
