Description

Artist -  ZOOT SIMS

Title - "Zoot!"

Label -  Riverside 12-228 (mono)

Country - USA

Condition:   cover

strong VG+ (light corner wear at bottom opening; writing on back at top with fountain pen; light rub wear to laminate and light soiling on back).  Very solid!  

Condition:  record 

VG++/VG+  (appears to  have been played only a few times;  'a' side has a few light scuffs/sleeve impressions;  'b' side has two areas with clusters of scuffs/hairlines that click lightly about 5 times on track 1 and about 10 times during a bass solo on track 2;  generally plays quite well).

NM (deep groove; reel and microphone)

 

The record also comes in its original wax paper inner sleeve, which has seam splits (a clean sleeve will be provided).

 

A classic late 1950s album by the great ZOOT SIMS - his only one on the Riverside label.  RARE!
