Description

ZOOT MONEY'S BIG ROLL BAND: Big Time Operator EP. UK Columbia mono orig. SEG 8519. 1966

Here's a copy of this very scarce EP from Zoot & Co. A top drawer rarity which hardly ever surfaces these days. Tracks are Big Time Operator, It Should've Been Me, Florence Of Arabia, Chauffeur. The laminated flipover sleeve is a bit tatty, especially along the opening edge. There's nothing missing, but there is some noticeable edge-wear there. There's also some age-wear. A previous owner has written his name on the rear, but this is in pencil and unobtrusive and could easily be erased. I'd grade the sleeve G+ to VG- at best. The vinyl has some marks, nothing terribly serious, but there are some clicks and pops on Side One. Side Two is in slightly better shape. I'd grade the vinyl VG- to VG. This is by no means a pristine copy, but the sleeve is intact, and the vinyl plays well. If you're looking for a really superb copy, forget it. If you want a decent copy that looks okay and plays well enough, then this is fine. This, as I'm sure you all know, is a major rarity, and goes for big money, so I'm going to take it's condition into consideration and give it a fair start price with no reserve. This isn't likely to turn up again for some time.
