Description

The ZODIAC Cosmic Sounds LP Vinyl Album on ELEKTRA UK EKS 74009 STEREO
Rare original UK pressing A1 and B1 Matrix from 1967 with Laminated Sleeve front and back with the DISTRIBUTED IN GREAT BRITAIN BY POLYDOR RECORDS LIMITED LONDON Text on the rear sleeve and the Orange Rough Texture Elektra Label again with the POLYDOR RECORDS LIMITED text on the bottom of the label - This is not too common in MONO but is jolly rare in STEREO .
A Fine Psychedelic Journey around the signs of the zodiac with very early MOOG + electronics played by PAUL BEAVER.  Sitar Fuzz guitar and full electric rock band consisting of bassist CAROL KAYE and drummer Hal BLAINE with BUD SHANK on flute and MIKE MELVOIN on Keyboards Jacques Wilson wrote the album's narration, and folk singer CYRUS FARYAR was chosen   to narrate over the album's exotic instrumentation.  in Glorious period sleeve . A great album a little overlooked by fans of psychedelic music  perhaps because of the narration element  - but for me this is up there with the best of late 60s underground rock .
Written by Mort Garson who went on to write the frankly crazed WOZARD OF IZ LP and other astrological themed LPs . Tracks are

RECORD is In EXCELLENT CONDITION with no scratches or marks perhaps only the faintest of paper scuffs 

noticable when viewed under a strong light . Labels in EXCELLENT CONDITION with good colour and no marks

Sleeve is Just less than EXCELLENT with tiny bumping to the corners - a small crease in the top right corner

and very slight gaping of the opening of rear sleeve but really in great shape considering its over 40 Years Old !
