Description
Master Tape compilations volumes I & II, Black Brittle Frisbee and BBF test pressing. With exception of BBF production copy, all came from the studio owner's personal collection. I don't normally sell vinyl, don't understand Goldmine standards but can assure you that all four discs are in virtually unplayed condition (by the time all the sessions were finished, the owner of the studio wasn't really interested in playing his copies). All jackets are in good shape, no dog ears or ring wear, with exception of MT vol 2 which has bubbling or lifting of paper in upper left corner both sides. Jacket of test pressing is plain white with hand-lettered "HCR 001" (Hit City Recording, catalog #1) in upper left corner. The "CR' portion has white-out under it. This correction may have been done by Dave the owner, the producer or someone at the pressing plant. Of note is the fact that Black Brittle Frisbee jackets were screen printed by hand with a 'split fountain' color blend so no two covers are exactly alike. I helped Dave in the construction of the Hit City facility, did some recording there and remember when Zero Boy Paul, with all his talent and drive, was still too young to legally enter the clubs in which he was performing. So, it's 80's Midwest Hardcore, the grooves are clean and my feedback speaks for itself. No reserve.
