FRANK ZAPPA LP OLD MASTERS BOX TWO (Barking Pumpkin Records ZM2-0228). Released 1986.
Hard to find on Vinyl. Limited Edition - Not very many pressed!! Wonderfully compiled box set of seven (7) classic Zappa/Mothers albums, plus a Mystery Disc of rare live cuts & outtakes which are unavailable elsewhere. Also contains eight printed inserts. All these discs have been stored long term in plastic-lined inner sleeves for exemplary care. The covers are in superb condition, except the box itself has water damage and the Fillmore & Weasels LPs suffer from heavy cat claw spine fraying. The discs are in pristine, immaculate condition, except side 3 of Uncle Meat has a light half-inch scuff.

Back side of box has bubbling due to water damage, with fraying at some of the corners. And heavy spine fraying on Fillmore & Weasels Ruipped My Flesh. Otherwise, no seam splits, stains, cuts, tears, tape, bubbles, puncture holes, cut-out marks, writing, color fading, price tags, or stickers on the covers. The other spines look very nice & are slick & fully readable. No ring wear or indentation. Labels look great: no stains, scuffs or writing. Sharp-cut holes free of spindle scuffs.
DISCS - NM
Stored with great care: Except for the light scuff on side 3 of Uncle Meat, all look unplayed. Free of scratches, flecks, scuffs, stains, skips, warping, and residue on the disc or dead wax. Excellent reflective rainbow sheen on the platter surfaces.
