FRANK ZAPPA MOTHERS OF INVENTION The Old Masters Box One   Barking Pumpkin BPR-7777 Rare original 1983 limited edition box set (# ZM1-01543) reproductions of the first 5 Mothers LPs on Verve; Freak Out, Absolutely Free, We're Only In It For The Money (with insert), Lumpy Gravy, Ruben & The Jets(with inserts) + bonus "Mystery Disc" of rare tracks.  Comes with a VG "Old Masters" poster with some tears in it, a NM- 28 page book with lyrics & photos of the group. (Sidenote- the photo of Suzy Creamcheese's face on page 3 was blacked out with a marker- I'm not sure if the previous owner did this or, if at the last minute Zappa couldn't get the rights to show her face and Barking Pumpkin lackeys had to slave over each book with a Sharpie!), and a VG+ Barking Pumpkin catalog booklet with a razor slice in middle. + 2 promo sheets for T-Shirts & his guitar book. Oh yeah, included on page 2 of the book is a print of the ULTRA-RARE mail-in-only "Freak Out Hot Spots of L.A." map.                 Jacket Grade: NM-. The outer mostly silver LARGE box has mild shelf wear on the lower corners.  No splits. Record Grade: All the LP's are Mint-. No visible wear. SHIPPING & PAYMENT INFORMATION
