SHIPPING:  I try to be totally transparent in my shipping prices.  I do not overcharge for shipping -- SHIPPING IS EXPENSIVE.  This is the breakdown:

• USPS shipping cost by weight and by volume and distance per new USPS rules (Note that USPS can and will raise rates every year)
• Let's face it...shipping is expensive! The average item I ship from here in Virginia weighs about 2 pounds 8 ounces. Shipped Priority Mail to New York City, it would cost $6.60. The same item shipped to Chicago, $10.60; to Denver, $12.90; and to Phoenix or Los Angeles, it would be $15.25. That's more than double what it costs to ship to NYC from here! USPS determines the shipping rates not me!

If the USPS does not log in or log out your item (which happens very frequently)  I will work with you to find the item.  REMEMBER, Priority Shipping can take as long as 2 WEEKS for delivery - longer if there are weather conditions in your area or in MY AREA or if there are national emergencies or holidays.  I visit the USPS almost every day so you can be assured that your item will be shipped expeditiously.  However, you as a buyer need to remember that even sellers have emergencies that they have to deal with.  Rest assured that I always ship expeditiously, but I am not a machine and I am not a large corporation, I have a family just like you do.
