Yeah Yeah Yeahs "Fever To Tell" Vinyl Picture Disc-RARE-LIMITED EDITION and totally a COLLECTABLE!!!! ONLY ONE ON EBAY!!!! RARE? OH YES!
There were only approximately 2,500-3,000 pressed so this will surely gain value if you take care of it, and like me, never ever put it on your record player...unless you want to listen to the sweet sound of vinyl. Interscope doesn't like to throw money around to make Vinyl (I know they didn't put my record out on viny, CD's are cheaperl) but when they do they really do it up. My pictures are not that great because of the whole flash-on-vinyl-in-clear-plastic/polsleeve aspect but rest assured this record is in PERFECT condition. I have never even played it, I don't even think I have taken it out of the Polysleeve. Somehow it survived all these years and is practically brand new (except for the fact it came out in 2003, but thats a good thing. Music was still good and I was getting a promo copy of what is now a very expensive record. These are very hard to come by, this is the only one I have found and it's "in near mint condition" for $80. Mine is in perfect condition. There is a VERY SMALL hole punched in the upper left hand corner of the clear plastic sleeve (that's what Interscope does when they want you to know it's a promo making it even more special) since it's a picture disc (those are very pricey to press) the record comes in a clear plastic sleeve so you can see how cool looks, it also has a sticker on the sleeve with numbers on it (and the record itself) so you know it's authentic and limited. This LP followed their 2 popular EP's and has their hit, the undeniable "Maps", thank goodness I resisted and denied ever putting it on the turntable and taking it for a spin, it's too pretty and it was so kindly given to me that I wanted to wait 8 years to even look at it again & upon investigation I saw just how limited and rare this LP is. I know a few dudes who have been close friends with the talented Karen O and even she didn't have a copy(although I'm sure she has one by now), but dang, that's super limited edition!
