Here is a fine copy of one of the most desired of all French piano records, La Voix de Son Maitre FBLP 1079, Yvonne Lefébure's great solo Bach recital, Pièces Pour Piano. Impossibly rare and, as all collectors of French records will be aware, impossible to find in NM condition. This copy has some minor discolouration to the 'baguette' box style jacket and some slight wear to the tips, but is otherwise sound. There is no wear to the leather effect covering to the dowel, and the gold impressed text is quite legible. There is a small mark on side two (Fantaisie et Fugue) that causes light ticks for 11 revolutions. Other than this slight blemish, the playing surfaces are solid NM. All in all a great copy of this fantastic record. Lefébure's interpretation of the Prelude and Fugue in A Minor and the Prelude to the Choral in F Major have to be heard to be believed. Truly an essential cornerstone to any collection of French interpretation. Complete with fold out insert.
