Up for bids is a great, rare, mono Jazz LP by Yusef Lateef called "Prayer To The East". Savoy Records. MG 12117. 1957.RARE ORIGINAL PRESSING!
DEEP GROOVE PRESSING!
Both sides' Trail-Off's have the stamped "RVG"!Front of cover is laminated.
Record's edges are raised.
Comes with plastic sack inner sleeve.
NOTE:
The grades I use are Mint (rarely used grade), Near Mint, VG+++ (rarely used grade), VG++, VG+, VG, VG Minus, Good+, Good, Fair and Poor.
Cover is a STRONG VG++ condition. Front is nice with some light wear. Back of cover has some minor wear. Name "ED" stamped on back's bottom-right corner. All sides are completely intact! No splits at all! Strong and sturdy, this is still a prime example of this cover!
I would rate the record’s condition as a STRONG VG++. Side B label has the name "ED" stamped on it. Record looks gorgeous with some superficial marks that do not affect play. Some minor surface noise in between tracks, but not much wear at all! Record sounds so amazing on my player! GOD BLESS SAVOY & VAN GELDER!
