The Yardbirds - Shapes Of Things - Charley # Box 104 (1984) Made in England.
This is a 7 LP box set with a 36 page booklet. It includes virtually all their recordings from the '63 to '66 era. A must have for all true Yardbird fans. These are hard to find in any condition. This one is a gem.
The box is near perfect! It is a hinged box with a ribbon (goes under the discs to lift them out of the box) intact. I have seen these without the hinged box and I am told that those are later (cheaper to make?) pressings.
The Booklet is beautiful ( and a great read!) No issues.
The vinyl is all in wonderful condition. The one exception is a mark on the 5 Live disc but I played it and it has no audible effect.
The jackets are all intact and clean. A couple of them have some slight wear on the back side as they are white and sitting directly on one another. It's very minor. They are the typical English light cardboard variety.
I got this in 1986 and it did not have inner sleeves. I don't know if it was issued that way or not. I was concerned about the discs ripping the jackets so I put in some inner sleeves. That was 20 years ago and I probably just put in whatever I had available at the time that was plain white. You might wish to put some new ones in. But as I said, I don't even know if it was made with them.
Overall this is in outstanding condition. if you have questions don't hesitate to ask.
Note: This weighs almost 5LBS before it is even packed. This will have an effect on international rates (anything over 4lbs) so you might want to email me for a quote. If I get a better general idea of costs, I will post them. For U.S. bidders, due to the weight, this can not go by media mail.
Packaging - Your records will be packed with loving care. They will be removed from the jackets to prevent damage to the jackets.
Shipping and Handling in the U.S.- (lower 48) I will combine shipping costs on multiple items. If you're bidding on more than one, just let me know and I'll hold your invoice etc. until you are done.

International Shipping and Handling- Due to new Postal regulations, there is no more Air Letter or Air Parcel post. It is now all first class (7-10 days). It will be $13 or more depending on your particular country. Please do not send money until I send you an invoice! I require a Proof of Mailing cirtificate and this will be included in the shipping cost. If you want insurance, it must go by Global Prioity.
Payment is to be made by Cashiers Check, Money Order or Paypal. Payment is due within five days of auction close. I understand if you mail a payment that it may take a bit more and that's OK. If you wish to mail a check please let me know. Sale final!
