Orig copy of rare private press Xian loner folk psych lp Bill Romansky "Live in South Philly". A real anomaly for Xian folk lps, this melancholy lp is a top shelf US acid folk collectors item ala a Xian version of Perry Leopold or Geoffrey. Complete downer vibe and performance on this 1979 lp and a really incredible psych cover. On Fourth Man Records. From the liner notes: "This album is about life, a rough mix. It is not for those easily offended at life, nor is it for those who deny the reality of death that is always there. It is for the ones who ask the question no one will ask, who demand answers to the problem no one will face; not a commercial album (vinyl copies of plastic messages). 'Too rough of a mix,' some will say; life tends to be that way." Top shelf item of it’s kind that would sit proudly in any psych or Xian collection. Includes insert with lyrics, info, photos, credits, etc. Song titles are: "I See a Hill" / "Rock & Roll of Ages" / "Bluejeans" / "Sells Out" / "Militant" / "Heroes" / "Drunkard" / "To Be Like Him" / "I'm Sorry".
