Up for bids is an original Mono Jazz LP by Miles Davis called "Blue Haze" on Prestige Records. PRLP 7054. Released in 1956.
RARE 1ST PRESSING WITH ADDRESSES "446 West 50th Street, New York 19, N.Y." ON THE BACK OF COVER, AND "446 W. 50TH ST., N.Y.C." ON BOTH LABELS!
Deep Groove pressing!
Edges of record are slightly raised.
Matrix (or trail-off) numbers have a stamped "E" then the hand-etched "RVG" followed by a hand-etched "PRLP-7054-A" then a small stamped "1" and lastly a stamped "AB" for Side A, and a stamped "H" then the hand-etched "RVG" followed by a hand-etched "PRLP-7054-B" and lastly a stamped "AB" for Side B.
Front of cover is laminated.
Comes with the original onion skin inner sleeve.
NOTE:
The grades I use are Mint (rarely used grade), Near Mint, VG+++ (rarely used grade), VG++, VG+, VG, VG Minus, Good+, Good, Fair and Poor.
Cover is in VG to VG+ condition. Some minor wear on front and back. Front has some minor browning towards opening side. Minor staining on back of cover. Minor fraying at center of spine. Top-center has a 3 3/4" split. Bottom-center has a 3 3/8" split
I would rate the record’s condition as a VG to VG+. Has some minor marks and scuffs on both sides that don't greatly affect play. Side 2's first track has a couple of hairline scratches that do cause "ticking", but do nor skip on my player. Overall, it still sounds really nice on my player!
